How “I Do” On a Dime Began
When I began the process of planning my own wedding, I set my budget, wrote down a list of ideas I would like to have and began taking the first steps toward becoming a “Mrs.” Shortly after, I discovered my budget didn’t match the vision I had for my wedding. I previously had no idea how much money it actually took to create a wedding. The reality was a rude awakening for me. Being on a teacher’s budget, I was always looking for a way to save a dollar… or several. During this process I continued to wish there were some place I could purchase gently used and discounted items that were needed to make my dream wedding become a reality. This is how my idea for this shop came about. Throughout Waco and surrounding areas there are several clothing and furniture consignment shops. I thought to myself, “If people can consign furniture and clothes, why not wedding items?” So, I have set aside my ruler and apple to give the opportunity of saving money to future brides. Even though I didn’t have such a place while I was planning, I am hoping to reach out to those brides like myself who want to have the perfect wedding day without going broke.
I welcome you to enjoy all the savings, fabulous gowns and wonderful decorations this unique shop has to offer. From one bride to another, I’m here to help make your wedding day a dream come true without cleaning out your bank account.
